CCC Member Dick Stover run a Croquet England GC B-Level (3+) tournament on Sunday June 16th. The tournament was attended by 16 croquet players from various clubs, with seven members from Colchester.
The tournament format consisted of four blocks of four players each. Within each block, every player competed against the other three players. The top player from each block advanced to the quarter-finals and competed against a player who finished second in a different block. Players who placed third and fourth in their blocks competed in the quarter-finals of the Plate competition.
The winner of the The Laeticia Atkinson Cup was Marc Trevere from Dulwich.
The winner of the plate was our very own Alex Wood.
This Saturday its the turn of the C-Level (7+) players in a CCC hosted CE tournament.
