Housekeeper

Organise volunteers and/or outside services (currently West Bergholt Cleaning Services) to maintain the cleanliness and general tidiness of all areas of the clubhouse.

General Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
  • Ensure that all common areas are welcoming and presentable.

Changing Room Maintenance:

  • Ensure restrooms are clean, well-stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, towels).

Kitchen Area:

  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, and cleaning appliances.
  • Ensure all surfaces and equipment are sanitised and in good working order.
  • Ensure milk is available in the fridge at all times

Waste Management:

  • Ensure proper segregation and disposal of recyclable materials.
  • Refill hand-soap dispensers as required.
  • Empty bins and recycling containers regularly and dispose of waste properly.

Laundry Duties:

  • Ensure fresh tea towels are available.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and store tea towels in the drawer in the kitchen.

Supply Management:

  • Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored safely.
